Building with Murray and his team at Arthouse was the best decision we ever made. The whole process was a breeze, Murray has a very consultative approach so we were involved in the decision making with each detail of the home. It gave me so much confidence that the end product would be exactly what we wanted. Turns out though it was better than we could have imagined. The craftsmanship is incredible, all the timber work completed by Sam is of the highest quality and again they consulted on things they thought may work better and they did. Our home is beyond our expectations. Nothing was too hard for Murray and the team, even when we asked them to build a rock climbing wall and add a playroom loft they took it in their stride and did the most spectacular job.

My family and I commissioned Arthouse Building Company to build a modern combined gym and poolhouse in Samford.  From the outset Murray Bailye engaged with us and our fantastic architect on both the design and costing carefully discussing options and opportunities for enhancement of the design.  During the build he personally took us through the week’s activities and updated us daily on progress and next steps.  Any parts of the job that didn’t meet Murray’s exacting standards were reworked at speed and ultimately a building that we are ecstatic about was delivered.  Even after hand over Murray has been in touch to check that there have been no snags or issues with the building.

We engaged Murray and his team from Arthouse Builders to build our architect-designed extension (kitchen, dining, living and outdoor area) and to renovate the existing house. This was a very complicated build which incorporated many intricate design elements created by the architects. The quality of the building work from Arthouse Builders was outstanding and the final result truly spectacular.  The design included bespoke timber cabinetry in the entrance area, kitchen, living and dining area that was created by Murray’s son, Sam. The cabinetry work is beautifully crafted and an absolute highlight in these areas of the house. I have contracted Murray Bailye and his Arthouse team of builder twice now; once for a minor renovation and the second, for a major renovation including kitchen and bathroom. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the work and the manner in which the work was done. Murray is a great collaborator, patient and a great problem solver. No detail was too much trouble and if things weren’t quite as I wanted, they were changed easily and happily. I believe Murray is a creative builder and a gifted thinker and loves doing things that were just a little special. He at all time was considerate of cost, often coming up with cost saving alternatives. My compliments also go to Murray’s team of builders who were absolute gentlemen and most thoughtful in creating a semi-kitchen while building was taken place. The loo was left in place till the very last moment for my ease. They ensured my pets were safe at all times and went out of their way to do little things to help. I will certainly use them again and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
