Arthouse Interiors is a quality bespoke joinery business based in Arthouse’s custom made studio/workshop near Samford, QLD. We specialise in custom cabinetry, furniture and interior fitouts with quality design and meticulous execution.
Part of our focus for Arthouse Interiors is to create beautiful interior fixtures and fittings for Arthouse Build projects ‘in house’. This allows us flexibility and gives us control of the quality that Arthouse is renowned for. To be able to custom make our interior products means we can make to order unique items that exactly meet our client’s brief and with minimal wait times.
Sam Bailye
DESIGNER/CRAFTSMAN
Sam Bailye (BDeST(IndDes)) is our in-house designer/craftsman for Arthouse Interiors. Sam is tertiary-qualified in industrial design, which he couples with an (almost obsessive) passion for quality woodwork, creating beautiful custom made cabinetry, furniture and interior fitouts.
Sam’s goal is to foster timeless designs and objects that are appreciated for their visual appeal and styling, whilst maintaining the absolute highest of functionality and usability.
Murray Bailye
PRINCIPAL DIRECTOR
Murray Bailye is the Principal Director of Arthouse Building Company and second-generation carpenter/builder. His long career has refined his eye for design and his ability to problem solve, meaning you can have confidence in the work that he and his design team do.
Murray is often the first point of call for clients looking to discuss interior work and oversees all design work and fit-outs. Every project is a co-creation with you as the client and the Arthouse Interiors team. Rest assured you will be well looked after!
Our Creative Process
As master designer cabinetmakers, we are ready and able to meet you wherever you are in your journey. We can work with you from conceptualisation to design to creation, or we can produce your piece from existing drawings.
Idea
Bring your idea to us. We will work with you to clarify the project brief and offer concept suggestions to ensure that your product is stunning and highly functional.
Design
We will produce a design or follow your previously formulated drawings/design brief. A quotation and expected time frame for completion will be provided.
Build
We will bring your order to life in our custom-built workshop. Your piece will be built to an exceptional standard and with a great deal of care and precision.

One of my strengths is implementing my industrial design background to work towards a successful design and build. This is visualized through hand-sketches and CAD modelling, prototyping and utilizing my knowledge of wood and construction methods and materials.
